We took Texas's standardized English tests yesterday. I'm not allowed to talk about the content about the test but I will say this: they wore me out.
Now I'm in study hall with nothing to do. I finished all of my homework. Since we had testing, we've had a week to do it, and one can only procrastinate so much. It's bittersweet: on one hand, I have nothing to do. On the other hand, I have nothing to do.
Might as well talk about school.
In English, we started a novel by Elie Wiesel called Night. It's about the Jewish concentration camps in WWII. By page 6 I was already saddened by it. So far it's a really sad book. I expect it'll be good though.
I'm also sending in an application for a mentoring program. I'll need to cut this post short for that.
Have a wonderful week,
Hannah Renea
